The OrgPlus Enterprise 3.4 release provides the following new features:
You can now create blueprints from a sub-section of a chart instead of having to include the entire chart in a blueprint. This lets you create much smaller blueprints, such as for an individual team.
OrgPlus Enterprise Administrators can now include additional data fields in the Blueprint Change Log that help users assess which fields were changed in a Blueprint.
Administrators can enable an option that allows OrgPlus Enterprise users to upload new pictures of themselves, which appear in a chart and profile is the Photo field is enabled. They must agree to usage terms, which are available through a link in the Change My Picture dialog box.
Automatic branch styles have been optimized to produce the best results for managers who have a large number of subordinates.
OrgPlus Enterprise 3.4 is fully compatible with OrgPlus 8 desktop products (Standard and Professional versions). You can save charts in the OrgPlus 8 file format, and upload and download OrgPlus 8 templates files. Template files that are downloaded from OrgPlus Enterprise are in the OrgPlus 8 format. This format can also be used to create views, profiles, indexes, and groups in OrgPlus Enterprise.
OrgTree performance has been optimized, especially with large data sets. The state of the OrgTree is also retained when a user navigates away from the OrgTree module and then returns. In addition, the "Hide Orphans" checkbox enables users to easily hide and show orphan records in the OrgTree module. This level of control used to be available only to administrators.
Those using a PeopleSoft database can now use a department access list to restrict access to fields and records in OrgPlus Enterprise.
Administrators can select Security Access options that enable users to remain signed in when they navigate away from the OrgPlus Enterprise browser window.
When upgrading a OrgPlus Enterprise system that uses SQL Server as an application database, the user no longer is required to enter the database administrator password, or configure other database settings.
You can now use delimited text files as an external source for user information. They are configured as external security authentication adapters.
