The upper toolbar in the Directory page lets you:
Return to the Home (Chart) page
Display the username of the person who is signed in
Export the current directory to Microsoft Excel or a text file
Open the online Help window
Sign Off from OrgPlus Enterprise

Click the Home button to display the initial chart (and initial top box) that was shown when you first logged in to OrgPlus Enterprise.
To export a directory to Excel or a flat file:
1
In the Directory page, click the Send
to Excel
link.
2 In the Send to Excel dialog box, select the fields you want to export by clicking on them in the Available fields list and using one of the following buttons:
Add: Adds the selected field from the Available fields list.
Add all: Adds all fields from the Available Fields list.
Profile: Exports all fields included in the current profile.
Directory: Exports all fields included in the current directory.
Remove: Removes a field from the Selected Fields list.
Remove all: Removes all fields from the Selected Fields list.
Note: After
the fields are moved to the Selected
fields list, you
can reorder them using the
and
buttons.
3 Specify additional information to include in the export file:
Headers: Specifies whether to include field names in the first row of the export file.
Note: If needed, you can select the Use field name option to export field names that correspond to the field names specified in the source data.
Reporting Relationship: Specifies whether to include position and reports to fields in each row of the exported file. Including the position and reports to fields preserves hierarchy information.
Note: Both OrgPlus Enterprise and OrgPlus Professional require hierarchy information when importing flat files.
4 Select what you want to export:
Entire Directory Result: Exports all records returned by the current search.
Current Page Result: Exports only the records displayed in the browser window.
5 Select the Export to destination:
Excel Workbook: Formats the export file for viewing in Excel 2000 or later.
Excel XML Spreadsheet: Formats the export file for viewing in Excel 2003 or later.
Excel 2007 Workbook: Formats the export file for viewing in Excel 2007 or later.
CSV File: Creates a flat file delimited by the Separator you select from the drop-down list.
6 Click OK.
7 Click Save to specify a file name.
8 Open Excel to view the exported file.
Click Help
to open the OrgPlus Enterprise Help system.
If your system is configured for secure access, your session eventually
times out. However, you should always sign off the system by clicking
the
link when you are finished. Once you have signed off,
you must sign in again to access OrgPlus Enterprise.
